Abstract:
A system, method, and computer program product for providing pseudo 3D user interface effects in a digital camera with existing lens distortion correction hardware. A distortion map normally used to correct captured images instead alters a displayed user interface object image to support production of a “pseudo 3D” version of the object image via production of at least one modified image. A blending map also selectively mixes the modified image with a second image to produce a distorted blended image. A set or series of such images may be produced automatically or at user direction to generate static or animated effects in-camera without a graphics accelerator, resulting in hardware cost savings and extended battery life.

Abstract:
A system, method and computer program product for proximity-based access control, including a physical token device having a programmable computing device, a memory storage device, and a wireless radio device having a limited range; and a user device that couples to the physical token device over one of: a wireless interface to the wireless radio device integrated into the physical token, and a physical interface to the physical token with electrical connectivity between the physical token and the user device. The programmable computing device is configured to only allow the user device to access the memory storage device over the wireless or physical interface when the physical token device is either within the limited range of the wireless radio device, or physically attached such that electrical connection is possible, respectively.

A system, method and computer program product for secure voice over IP (VoIP) communications between computer devices, including a mobile device having a voice over IP (VoIP) application running thereon; a memory device having an encryption and decryption application, and an audio interface application running thereon; and a bus for providing communication between the mobile device and the memory device. The encryption and decryption application is configured to encrypt data transmitted to and received from the VoIP application over the bus. The encryption and decryption application is configured to decrypt the data received from the VoIP application before sending the decrypted data to the audio interface application.
