Abstract:
This invention relates to water-dispersible sulfopolyesters comprising residues of (i) terephthalic acid; (ii) an amount sufficient to provide water-dispersibility to the sulfopolyester of at least one difunctional sulfomonomer containing at least one sulfonate group bonded to an aromatic ring; (iii) less than 5 mole % of at least one dicarboxylic acid that is not terephthalic acid or a sulfomonomer; (iv) 25 to 90 mole % of at least one polyethylene glycol having the structure:wherein 2n
