Dr. Brent Kane brings 17 years of clinical experience to the California Cancer Center and Marjorie E. Radin Breast Care Center, specializing in all aspects of radiation oncology, with special interest in prostate cancer and breast cancer. He earned his medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California and completed his internship in internal medicine at University of California, San Francisco (Fresno campus). He returned to Loma Linda University Medical Center to perform his residency in radiation oncology where he served as chief resident for the department of radiation medicine. Dr. Kane believes that the radiation oncologist is integral to the care of most cancer patients and takes a proactive role in working with other cancer specialists to develop the best treatment course for each patient. He strives to give the most current and best evidenced medical care and does so in a compassionate setting with the whole person in mind. He served in the United States Air Force from 1995 until 1999, where he was recognized as the Top Performer in Officer Training School and was honorably discharged at the grade of Major. He continued to serve in the USAF Reserve until 2007. Kane enjoys power-boating, skiing, baseball, working out at the gym and traveling.
