US Patent:
20140060487, Mar 6, 2014
Filed:
Dec 28, 2012
Appl. No.:
13/730208
Inventors:
Brian Dehnert - Mandan ND, US
Assignee:
Clark Equipment Company - West Fargo ND
International Classification:
F02D 1/00
US Classification:
123364
Abstract:
Disclosed are horsepower management systems and methods for use on power machines with an engine that powers a drive system. An engine speed control device controls the engine speed. A variable displacement drive pump controlled by a displacement control member provides pressurized fluid to a drive motor. A control system communicates with the engine speed control device and the pump displacement control member. The control system includes a user input device and a command lever rotatably coupled to the displacement control member and capable of receiving the user input. The command lever provides a signal to the engine speed control device in response to the user input. The command lever also commands a given displacement via the displacement control member subject to load forces on the hydrostatic pump transmitted to a limiting mechanism coupled to the command lever and the displacement control member.

US Patent:
20200208370, Jul 2, 2020
Filed:
Mar 12, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/816837
Inventors:
- West Fargo ND, US
Brian Dehnert - Mandan ND, US
Patrick Link - Bismarck ND, US
International Classification:
E02D 7/10
E02F 3/06
E04H 17/26
Abstract:
Disclosed embodiments include post driving implements which attach to a power machine such as a loader in order to pick up posts of various sizes and materials and/or to drive the posts into the ground. In some exemplary disclosed embodiments, the post driving implement allows a post to be picked up when positioned inline with a direction of power machine travel and allows the post to rotate under the force of gravity to a second position in which the post is inline with a pounding mechanism for pounding the post into the ground. Catch mechanisms can be included to capture a portion of the implement to maintain the post in the second position until a release action is taken or a release command is given.
