Abstract:
A distributed transceiver for wireless communication system providing access to a public data communication network is disclosed. A plurality of RF access points are positioned in a premises to provide service coverage for mobile wireless according to a local wireless communication protocol. Each of the RF access points is coupled to a central controller by a cable to permit transmission of a low voltage DC power signal to the RF access point and transmission of uplink and downlink signals between the central controller and the RF access point.

An input device capable of optically communicating with an electronic apparatus is provided. The input device includes a light source, a force sensor, and a controller. The force sensor is configured to sense a force applied to a tip of the input device and generate a first sensing signal corresponding to the sensed force. Abstract:
A multi-user videophone hub may include a processor, a video camera, a display, and a wireless communication interface to communicate with at least one local handset. The processor may be configured to receive video from the at least one local handset, and create a composite video stream based on video from the video camera and the video received from the at least one local handset. The processor may also be configured to send the composite video stream to a remote device and receive video from the remote device. Abstract:
A chassis cover for a host unit of a computer system is disclosed. The chassis cover is preferably capable of covering a chassis which includes mountings for components which are movable in a direction. The chassis cover includes a first surface, and a movable side door having a closed position and an open position. The side door provides an opening in the chassis cover when in the open position to permit the mountings to be extended toward the opening when the side door is in the open position. By permitting the mountings to be extended toward an opening provided by the side door, the components within the host unit may be accessed and serviced without removing a heavy display monitor.
