Abstract:
An extensible monitor support system () is provided. The system () may include a cabinet () made up of a horizontal base (), a back (), right and left sides (), a front (), and a top (). Within the cabinet () is a lift apparatus () made up of an extensible support column () formed of telescoping outer, intermediate, and inner sections (), a base plate () coupled to the cabinet base () and the column outer section (), a pair of opposing bayonet sheaths () coupled to the column outer section (), a primary coupling component () coupled to the bayonet sheaths () and the cabinet back (), and a monitor support bracket () coupled to the column inner section () and the monitor (). The monitor support bracket () is configured to maintain a monitor () substantially parallel to the cabinet back ().
