Reeled L.e.d. Assembly

View page
US Patent:
6505956, Jan 14, 2003
Filed:
Dec 22, 2000
Appl. No.:
09/748536
Inventors:
G. Robert Priddy - Tulsa OK
Kevin W. Hannah - Tulsa OK
James C. Slayden - Talala OK
Assignee:
Lektron Industrial Supply, Inc. - Tulsa OK
International Classification:
F21V 2100
US Classification:
362249, 362252, 362800, 362812
Abstract:
A reeled L. E. D. lighting system has a plurality of rigid circuit boards, each circuit board having a plurality of light emitting diodes dispersed on one face thereof, the diodes being electrically connected between positive and negative terminals of their respective circuit board, the circuit boards being electrically connected in parallel with each other and structurally connected in series with each other by a plurality of pairs of flexible conductors connecting the positive and negative terminals of the circuit boards, the structural series connection providing a chain of the circuit boards and conductors, the chain being spirally wound about a spool of a reel for every dispersion into and attachment to a light housing.

Led Assembly For Illuminated Signs

View page
US Patent:
60422483, Mar 28, 2000
Filed:
Oct 15, 1997
Appl. No.:
8/950478
Inventors:
Freddie L. Hannah - Claremore OK
Kevin W. Hannah - Tulsa OK
G. Robert Preddy - Tulsa OK
Assignee:
Lektron Industrial Supply, Inc. - Tulsa OK
International Classification:
G09F 1328
US Classification:
362252
Abstract:
An assembly for illuminating a sign having an enclosure covered by a translucent panel includes a plurality of track molding sections, each having at least one circuit board electrically connecting a plurality of LEDs mounted thereon, integrated into a unitary structure by brackets or a stencil with the molding sections secured in a configuration suitable to be inserted into the enclosure and to illuminate the translucent panel. The unitary structure is secured in the enclosure into which has been inserted by sheet metal screws, epoxy glue, double backed adhesive strips or the like. Preferably, if brackets are used, at least two of the brackets extend to a side wall of the enclosure and a plurality of screws fasten the brackets to the side walls of the enclosure to which they extend. Preferably, each of the circuit boards is electrically connected into a single circuit and a transformer which is secured to one of the brackets or to the stencil has low voltage terminals which are electrically connected to the single circuit. A switch, sometimes part of the sign being illuminated, may be used to electrically connect the high voltage terminals of the transformer to an electrical power source.

Rapid Deploy Multi-Mount Lighting System

View page
US Patent:
20150092430, Apr 2, 2015
Filed:
Sep 30, 2014
Appl. No.:
14/503353
Inventors:
Kevin Wayne Hannah - Tulsa OK, US
International Classification:
F21V 21/14
F21V 21/30
F21V 23/00
F21V 21/22
US Classification:
362427
Abstract:
A lighting system capable of rapid deployment for use in vehicular and non-vehicular deployment scenarios to project light as and where needed. The lighting system comprises an interchangeable mounting apparatus which is configured for the particular deployment application, which can be vehicular or non-vehicular. The mounting apparatus connects to a rapidly vertically deployable mast system, which can be folded to facilitate transport and storage. A lighting assembly is attached to the mast system on movable brackets. A broad range and class of lighting components may be selected for attachment to the mast system, and the mast system vertically deploys to facilitate the projection of light as desired.
