Abstract:
A fuel rail for an automotive vehicle with a spark-ignited, reciprocating piston internal combustion engine is provided. The fuel rail has a tubular body with a fuel inlet and a plurality of injector outlets. A damper is provided with a lower cup connected to the tubular body. The damper also has an upper cup with a diaphragm sealably separating the cups.

Abstract:
A fuel rail is provided which includes a housing formed by a first member with a first thickness. A bracket is provided, connected to the first member to connect the fuel rail to an internal combustion engine. A second stamped member is provided and is sealably connected to the first member to form a control volume therewith. The second member has a second thickness that is materially lower than the first thickness. Accordingly, the second member has a wall to damp pulsations caused by the opening and closing of the injectors fluidly connected with the rail.

An air fuel delivery system arrangement for an engine is provided, including an air manifold body, having a first set of runners for a first cylinder bank with inlets on a first side and outlets on a second side of the manifold body and a second set of runners for a second cylinder bank with inlets on a second side and outlets on a first side. Abstract:
A fuel delivery system arrangement is provided for the internal combustion engine. The arrangement includes a fuel rail with an outlet and a fuel injector for metering flow of fuel from the fuel rail into the internal combustion engine. The fuel injector has a body with an inlet, which inlet has an opening. A first sealing member is provided for engaging the fuel rail outlet and sealing the fuel injector inlet opening from a portion of the fuel injector body. A second sealing member is provided which engages the fuel rail outlet and seals the injector body providing a sealed control volume between the first sealing member and the second sealing member adjacent to the fuel injector body. A vent is provided connecting a sealed control volume with an area external to the fuel injector rail and the fuel injector body.
